We include a cleanup phase in every engagement - we'll reconcile your historical transactions, fix misclassifications, and get you to a clean starting point before we begin monthly service. The cleanup is quoted separately based on how far behind things are, and we'll give you an exact number during your strategy session.
What software do you work with?
We primarily work with QuickBooks Online and Xero, but we're flexible - we can work with a variety of accounting platforms depending on your needs. If you're starting fresh, we'll recommend the best fit during your strategy session.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Month-to-month clients can cancel with 30 days' notice. If you prepaid annually, we'll refund the prorated unused portion. We don't lock you into long-term contracts because we believe our work should earn your business every month.
Do you handle tax filing too, or just bookkeeping?
Both. We offer standalone bookkeeping, standalone tax, and integrated packages that combine everything. Most clients find the integrated approach saves them money and eliminates the coordination headache between their bookkeeper and tax preparer. We'll discuss the best fit during your strategy session - there's no pressure to bundle if you only need bookkeeping right now.
I'm a sole proprietor. Is this still a fit?
Our packages start at $395/month (prepaid annually) and are designed for businesses at any stage - from solo operators to growing teams. During your strategy session, we'll recommend the right level of support based on your volume and complexity.
How fast can you get my books current?
Timelines depend on complexity - simpler cleanups may be faster, while multi-year or multi-entity backlogs may take longer. For most businesses, we can clean up 6-12 months of backlogged books within 1-2 weeks. Larger cleanups may take 3-4 weeks. We'll give you an exact timeline and cost during your strategy session after reviewing where things stand.
