    Questions people ask first

    My situation involves both the US and Canada. Can I use this?

    Start with the Cross-Border Diagnostic instead. A cross-border price is a count of filings, often in both countries and sometimes across several years, and nobody can count them honestly from one return. The Diagnostic reads your whole situation, puts it in writing, and ends with your fixed price. It is $250 and the full amount comes off the work. If you upload here anyway, that is the answer you will get back.

    Is this really free?

    Yes. You get a price and what it covers. It's how we'd quote you anyway, we've just taken the call out of it. The paid product is the Diagnostic, which is a full written read of your file, and the price note will point you to it if your situation needs one.

    Where does my return actually go?

    Straight from your browser into our own encrypted storage on Cloudflare, the same company that protects the site. It never travels by email. Only your CPA can open it, through a signed link that works for no one else, and it's deleted automatically after 30 days whether or not you go ahead.

    Will you tell me what's wrong with it?

    Not here. The free note is a price and the list of pieces it covers, so you can decide without a sales pitch. What's actually in your file, what was missed, and what it costs you to leave it is the Diagnostic, in writing, $250 that comes off the work.

    I got a letter and the deadline is close. How fast?

    Say so in the note and mark it as a letter. Letters get read the same day when they come in during the week. The note tells you what it is, the real deadline, and the price to handle it, and if it's the kind of letter that shouldn't wait, it says that too.

    Do I need to create an account?

    No. If you go ahead with the work, you'll get an invite to our secure client portal then. Until then, this page is all there is.
