Why the Diagnostic comes first

Fifteen minutes can't answer a tax question. A written Diagnostic can.

A call with someone we've never met, whose returns we haven't seen, can only give you a direction. So we don't pretend otherwise. The call is free because it isn't the product.

Is the call really free?
Yes. Fifteen minutes, no payment, no obligation. It isn't where the answer comes from, though. That's the Diagnostic, $250 for cross-border or $195 for a second opinion on a filed return, and it's credited back in full if we do the work after.
Do I have to take the call?
No. If you already know what you need, start the Diagnostic and skip it. The call is for people who aren't sure which one fits.
What should I have ready?
Six short questions land right after you book, about five minutes, and they're the first page of the Diagnostic anyway. Beyond that, your last filed return nearby helps. If you can't find it, come anyway.
What does the Diagnostic guarantee?
That you'll know what to file, what it costs, and what happens if you don't. If the report doesn't tell you those three things, we refund it. If you stop after the report, you keep the report.
Who will I be talking to?
A licensed CPA, dual-licensed in the US and Canada, not a sales rep or a junior screener. The same person writes your Diagnostic.
